Bringing Real-Time Cinema Showtimes to DOOH
For the release of Gladiator 2, Latch Digital developed a dynamic out-of-home (DOOH) campaign that integrates real-time session times from the Flicks API. This ensures that digital billboards display the nearest cinema and the next available screening, creating a seamless connection between audiences and the film’s release.
Leading up to the premiere, the campaign featured a daily countdown timer, building anticipation for the film’s launch. As the release date approached, the campaign transitioned to showing real-time cinema information.
Using a rotating array of cinemas mapped to each billboard location, the system dynamically updates showtimes while maintaining a visually compelling, film-branded experience.
